Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, alpine meadows, and traditional Bhotia villages, this trek is ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers. The journey continues to the stunning Bankatiya Base Camp, offering breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and an unforgettable trekking experience.

Haldwani / Kathgodam ➜ Munsiyari ➜ Laspa Village ➜ Bankatiya Base Camp ➜ Return to Munsiyari ➜ Haldwani / Kathgodam

Best Time to Visit

  • May – June (Pleasant Weather & Green Meadows)
  • September – Mid October (Crystal Clear Himalayan Views)
  • Not Recommended during heavy monsoon due to landslides.

Day Wise Itinerary

Drive approximately 300 km (10–12 Hours) via Almora and Gori Ganga Valley. Overnight stay in Munsiyari Guest House.

Drive to Dhapa/Lilam followed by a 3–4 hour easy trek to Laspa Village. Experience traditional Bhotia culture with overnight homestay.

Trek 5–6 km through dense forests and alpine trails. Enjoy spectacular views of Bankatiya Peak. Overnight Camping.

Trek back to Laspa Village and drive to Munsiyari. Overnight stay at Guest House.

Return drive to Kathgodam Railway Station through the beautiful Himalayan roads.
